Hi, I’m Owen, and I’m so glad you’re here!

I was born and raised in Zimbabwe, but I now live in the Bay Area with my amazing wife and 3 year old son. Growing up, my family didn’t always have access to cameras, and I don’t have baby photos of myself or pictures of my late father to share with future generations. This is why photography means so much to me—it’s about preserving the moments that matter most.

When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll often find me in the kitchen. I’m a foodie who loves exploring different cultures through their cuisine. My favorite is Jamaican, but I’ve also learned to make ramen and pho noodle soup from scratch—it’s my way of connecting with the world and its stories.

At Mumoyo Photography, I use natural light, creativity, and your family’s unique energy to craft timeless images that tell your story. My mission is to create photos that will be cherished for generations to come.
